The Messy Church team will be busy at Wintertainment providing a range of Christmas crafts for children in St Meddan’s halls. These include Christmas decorations, cards, labels and biscuits. The event is free and children who complete the crafts and watch a short video of the Christmas story will be rewarded with a Christmas story book “With love from God to you”. We are grateful for funding from Troon Churches Together which enables us to run Messy Church sessions free of charge.
Messy Church welcomes children of any age, with their parents or carers.
Throughout the afternoon (1:30pm to 3:30pm) teas, coffee, juice and shortbread will be available in Pentland hall for a small donation.
Please come along and support us. Donations of shortbread will be gratefully received. If you can help in any way (making shortbread, setting up after Church, welcoming, etc) speak to Jennifer Lawrie or Joan Davidson or contact them at troonmessychurch@gmail.com.
Regular sessions of Messy Church run on the first Friday of the month, 3:30pm to 5:30pm, and we would welcome more volunteers to help with crafts, catering, welcoming and talking to the young families who attend. Please contact Jennifer or Joan if you are interested in volunteering.
